Cooper Summit Webpage

I designed and developed the Copper Summit Ski & Golf website to showcase on-site amenities, current conditions, and upcoming events while making it simple for visitors to book and get in touch as a tester site. The site highlights weather and snow reports, an amenities section, clear booking links and event listings, a full-width image gallery, newsletter signup, and social/contact information so users can find what they need quickly. I prioritized visual hierarchy, prominent CTAs, and an approachable layout that guides users from discovery to booking.

Design Goals

  • Catch viewers' attention:  Led with strong visuals of a large image and statement.
  • Create a mood: Use a artic palette with blues and white to highlight the snow and sky.

  • Organize content cleanly:  Three dropdown menus for about, amenities, and book now including subsections for individual pages

  • Responsive & performant: The site is good on mobile, tablet, and desktop, and loads quickly.

  • Brand consistency: Use fonts, colors, and spacing coherently so the site feels intentional and flows. White space to not make the pages feel busy.

Tools and techniques

This website was designed and developed using Adobe Dreamweaver, built entirely with clean HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript for interactive features. The layout emphasizes responsiveness and accessibility, ensuring it adapts seamlessly across devices. High-quality images were optimized for web performance, and subtle animations were added to enhance user engagement without distracting from the content.
